The Fellowship of Aaronic Restoration Ministers (FARM) exists to serve three primary
purposes
- ENCOURAGE and SUPPORT each member of the Aaronic priesthood as he seeks to magnify
the calling and responsibilities he has accepted.
- By PROVIDING TOOLS and TRAINING, we hope to place in each mans hands those tools and
skills needed to edify the flock and prepare it for the trials that surely lie before it.
- Stand as a forum in which FELLOWSHIP, NETWORKING, and the EXCHANGE of IDEAS and
EXPERIENCE amongst the Aaronic priesthood will serve to draw us closer to one another
as we pray, fast, and study to become of One Heart and One Mind with our Lord and Savior,
Jesus Christ.
The ideals presented by Captain Moroni so long ago have not died. Indeed, they remain
a battle cry today as we of the Aaronic Order rise to stand for our God, our religion,
and freedom, and our peace, our wives, and our children in this, the latter days.

Youth Council Website
You may visit the youth council website at http://www.eldersconference.org/youthcouncil for greater detail of our current activities.
Youth Council purpose:
- to encourage and coordinate ministry among Restoration branches to
the youth of the Church, that they may become active participants in
the building of the Kingdom of God and the redemption of Zion.
These are the qualities we hold as important to
accomplishing our mission:
- The Scriptures - We believe that the Bible, the Book of Mormon,
and the Doctrine and Covenants are the standards by which we discern Gods
direction. By studying these, we find how we can know and glorify God.
- Discipleship - We believe the body of Christ must be nurtured
through consistent prayer, scripture study, accountability, care, and training.
- Evangelism - We believe that as youth grow in their
relationship with Christ, they should be encouraged to reach out to others
in their witness of Jesus Christ.
- Worship - We believe in the celebration and honoring of God
via song, testimony, preaching, prayer, and sacraments.
- Fellowship - We believe the association of the Saints in which we are
known, cared for, held accountable, and encouraged in our spiritual journey is
essential. This association is in recreation, friendship, and worship.
- Youth responsibility - We believe youth must be equipped to take
responsibility for ministry which will teach them to develop vision, set
goals, and express their gifts, talents, and personalities.
- Service - We believe that helping others shows the love
of Christ in a real and tangible way.
- Leadership - We believe that effective youth ministry comes
from spiritually healthy leaders who seek their direction from the Lord and set
a strong and positive example.
- Communication - We believe that sharing our ideas and
concerns (allowing all to be heard) is essential for developing new insights
and discovering answers to problems that are a normal part of any ministry.
- Cooperation - We believe that by working together between
Restoration branches and organizations, we can create a stronger youth ministry
for all of our youth.
Youth Council Goals:
- Developing training resources (i.e. written materials, workshops,
and resource people) to equip current and future youth leaders with the
necessary skills to direct effective youth programs and ministry.
- Encouraging communication between Restoration branches and organizations
dealing with youth ministry for the development of cooperative ventures to
meet youth needs and to minimize in scheduling of events.
- Working with youth leaders and the leadership of the Conference of
Restoration Elders to discern youth needs and concerns both within and
outside the Center Place.
- Assisting in the development of programs to equip youth for growing
in their Christian life and relationship with God - recognizing that this
should include the areas of fellowship, discipleship, worship, service,
and evangelism.
Attentionwe need to identify youth leaders! One of our visions in
the Youth Council has been to increase our scope beyond providing Center
Place youth ministry and find ways to be of support to youth throughout
the Restoration. Part of being able to do that is learning who are youth
leaders in various areas and finding out their needs and ways we might
be of assistance. We would appreciate the names of your youth leaders,
the best way to contact them, and any insights you have of the youth
needs in your area.
